The Lego Movie 2: WHAT-A-REVIEW
What do you get when you combine legos with catchy pop music? Well, you get the Lego movie: The second part.
If you enjoyed the first Lego movie, I would highly recommend the new Lego movie. The animation from the beginning of the film to the credits were detailed and eye-catching. The music was also very very catchy from, the catchy song, everything’s not awesome, and not evil (which was probably my favorite).
The characters of the film were witty and charming. A lot more character development from the previous film and some hilarious inside jokes to fans who enjoy the DC Universe, action movies, and puns! One of my favorite moments in the film was meeting the character, Queen whatevra wa’nabi and her backstory. The “not evil” song is probably one of the catchiest songs next to the “catchy song.” Which, will get stuck inside of your headdddd.
Many characters from the previous film are still shown in the latest movie and you get a more in-depth view of their characters. You also get new characters from “momagedeon” and “Rex”. Without giving too much away from the film you will relate to the kids in the story and the movies overall message. Some of the jokes were a tab bit flat but you can definitely tell the animators and writers of the film put in a lot of effort to make this movie enjoyable for viewers. I hope to see this movie continue to do well at the box office and continue to let fans know that, “everything is awesome.”
I give this movie four legos out of five.
