The International Animation Festival (FIA) is a space of diffusion and exhibition of animated shorts by students and graduates of animation schools, high school students, independent animators and producers from around the world. The Festival is from September 14 to September 16, 2016 in Uruguay.

During the Festival the films selected are exhibited, national and international conferences are held and there are instances meeting with representatives of the industry and a job fair.

This is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Communication and Design at the University ORT Uruguay and declared of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
