The 2016 Los Angeles International Short Film Festival (LA Shorts Fest) September 1-8 at LA LIVE. LA Shorts Fest is one of the most prestigious international short film festivals in the world. The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. The festival attracts 8,000 moviegoers, filmmakers, trend setters, and entertainment professionals looking for new talent.

Dan Krauss previous short ‘The Death of Kevin Carter’ screened in 2004 at LA Shorts Fest and earned him a Academy Award nomination and 2 Emmy Awards. Two time Tony Award winner Jonathan Pryce in ‘One Last Dance’ directed by Luke Losey.  Jane Lynch (Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award) in Writer’s Block by Troy Miller.
