It has been recently announced that Warner Bros. is bringing back the Mystery Machine and releasing a Scooby-Doo animated movie for September 21, 2018. The movie release was announced by executives Greg Silverman, Dan Fellman, Sue Kroll and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg. Based on the Hanna-Barbera franchise the new movie will be presented under the Warner Animation Group label. The movie will be directed by Tony Cervone. Tony Cervone has worked on “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” and is a fan of Scooby-Doo himself. Â Dan Povenmire has also been announced to work on the animation. Dan Povenmire is known for working on the Phineas and Ferb series. The film will reunite Oscar-nominated producers Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, who previously produced WB’s Scooby-Doo live action and Scooby-Doo: Monsters Unleashed. Joining them is BAFTA – Awarn winning producer Allison Abbate known for the Iron Giant, Fantastic Mr. Fox and TIm Burton’s Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie.
I loved the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. show so I trust the director to make this a good film.
