Growing up I lived in one of the 98 million US homes around the world to watch Cartoon Network. I would tune in to shows not only on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim but would be entranced watching old television shows from Josie and the Pussycats, Scooby Doo and JabberJaw on Boomerang. When I got older i started watching other shows from old episodes of Dexter’s Laboratory , Powerpuff Girls and Captain Planet and enjoyed many of the classic TV shows for kids and families.
Besides Boomerang being associated with Cartoon Network the station showcases cartoons from Warner Bros, Hanna-Barbera, MGM and other original productions worldwide. It was recently just announced that Turner Broadcasting is re-launching Boomerang with a new logo and new time slots. Not only will the new Boomerang be a new program for family and kids to view like it was 14 years ago it will also be available to 13 international feeds. With the show already being offered for ad sales and promotional purposes the official launch began on September 29 in Latin-America, November 3 in Australia and will be premiered in 2015 in US, Europe, Middle East, Africa and on Asia Pacific Networks.
